I have over 20 years of legal experience and have practiced in the federal and state courts of Idaho and Oregon.  I graduated from Lewis & Clark Law School (Portland, OR) in 1999.  Between 1999-2001, I served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Alan M. Schwartzman (ret.) of the Idaho Court of Appeals.  In 2001, I began practicing law with a large Boise law firm.  In 2006, I left the large firm to practice on my own. 

The mediation process has been a large part of my experience and practice.  I am dedicated to the use and development of mediation in my legal practice and consider myself a strong advocate for the numerous advantages mediation often provides to parties over the conventional litigation path.  I am on the Idaho Supreme Court's list of certified civil case mediators.  I frequently volunteer my time to mediate small claims cases for the state court system as a way to give back to the community and the courts, as well as keep my mediation skills well-honed.

If I'm not in the office, I'm likely on the river looking for rising trout.
